About WebEdify
We built the tools we wished we had across three decades of mission-critical systems, and then we ran our own business on them. This page is the part of the diligence you would do anyway.
Who builds the platform
WebEdify is built by MACRIM Corporation, which has delivered custom .NET applications for mission-critical business operations for over thirty years. The framework is not a startup's first product — it is the distillation of a very long time spent finding out which abstractions survive contact with real clients.
The same team that writes the framework implements it for clients. There is no handoff to a partner who learned it from documentation.
Who runs and supports it
Hosting, monitoring, patching, backups, and the support desk are delivered by a managed services operation that looks after 50+ customer networks and systems today. Managed IT is not something we added to sell software — it is a discipline the organisation has been practising for years.
Your environment is monitored and maintained as part of the subscription, not billed as incidents.
Where we actually stand
Stated plainly, because your security team is going to ask and a vague answer here costs everyone a month.
- Dedicated environments.
Every client is isolated at the environment level. Your data does not share a database with another customer's, and isolation does not depend on query filters being written correctly. - Conservative AI defaults.
The assistant receives structure rather than values unless someone deliberately and visibly changes that. Applies at every price tier, not just enterprise. - Your AI relationship, if you prefer.
Use our metered tokens, bring your own provider account and keys, or run against a model we host — whichever your compliance position requires. - Operational security as routine.
Patching, backup verification, monitoring, and access control are run as standing practice across the whole managed book, not configured once at onboarding. - SOC 2 certification is in progress.
The practice behind it is long established across our managed environments; the formal certification is work we are completing now. If your process requires a current report in hand before signature, we would rather tell you today than at the finish line — and we can walk your security team through the controls and architecture under NDA in the meantime. - A framework is not a guarantee.
WebEdify makes the safe path the default path and makes departures from it explicit in configuration. It cannot infer every risk in your application. Assembling the right controls for your context remains a shared responsibility, and any vendor claiming otherwise is selling you something.
The Edification Mindset
"Let all things be done for edification." — 1 Corinthians 14:26
We exist to build up developers, teams, and organizations. Faster delivery that does not sacrifice ownership or long-term maintainability. Configuration that is still readable in five years. AI assistance that amplifies understanding rather than hiding it. In practice this is also why our comparison pages name the places we lose.
Why we dogfood
This entire marketing site runs on the same declarative commands, models, and templates we ship to clients. The contact form is a live model-backed command. The pages you are reading use the same boilerplate as every internal tool and client product we deliver. If the framework were painful to work in, this site would be the first place it showed.
